Hoping you can help me out with an upcoming segment on the talk show. I’m scouring the nation looking for the best “All you can eat” restaurants. Obviously, I haven’t seen them or eaten in them all, so your eyes and taste buds are being put to the test.
I have a few categories:
- Seafood
- Barbecue
- Breakfast/Brunch
Please post your choice(s) in the comments section of this Post. Your answers will be part of the Saturday July 18, 2009 MIND YO BUSINESS talk show, during the Travel Hour, 9am-10am [Mississippi Riverboat Time].
MIND YO BUSINESS on The Power, XM Radio, Channel 169 and now on the internet through www.xmradio.com, 9:00am-11:00am [Eastern Time]. Toll-free call in number (866) 801-8255.

Rick’s Restaurant & Sports Bar • Sneads Ferry, NC, located halfway between Jacksonville, NC and Wilmington, NC on hwy. 210. This restaurant located in coastal NC has the absolute freshest seafood in the area. The atmosphere is very family oriented, (during the day and before the games start anyway), and the wait staff is top notch professional, never allowing you run out of anything before your belly if full. They are located at 510 Petes Way
Sneads Ferry, NC 28460. Phone: 910-327-2300. Their winter hours are a little shorter than their summer hours. You won’t be sorry with the quality of food and the attention to customer service.

Gardner’s Restaurant has the best buffet, (in my opinion) in NC located in Rocky Mount NC. They are about 60 miles northeast of Raleigh, NC, about 15 minutes east of I-95 and U.S. 64. Their main location is on Highway 301 bypass and they have been in business for 37 years in it’s same location. Their other two stores offer dine-in or carry out only. Unlike a lot of other pulled pork specialty restaurants, they offer pulled chicken bbq too, with fried chicken, squash, gravy, potatoes, corn, bread, buns, rolls, fried okra, a full salad bar and a host of other foods that I can’t remember as part of the buffet menu, all for under $10.00/adult. Their dessert buffet is fantastic as well and of course, all the sweet iced tea your mouth can stand!! (Potato jacks and banana pudding are to die for………..with the jacks being in carry out or regular menu items only). Their address is 1331 N Wesleyan Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Ph. 252-972-9740.

Captain Georges looks like a big chain from Virginia to SC. Thanks for the tip. Enjoy S. Korea. Don’t get ill with Kim Jong disease.

Captain George’s in the Virginia/NC area is well-known so it may already be on your radar.
For Korean food, the Todai chain is excellent. I’ve been to the locations in Hawaii and Fairfax, VA.
